Bees to Collect Pajamas for Family Support Center

SALT LAKE CITY (August 18, 2008) - The Salt Lake Bees will team up with the Utah Chapter of the Pajama Program on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 to host Pajama Night at Franklin Covey Field.

Fans are invited to donate new pajamas (any size) and new children's books to benefit The Family Support Center in Salt Lake City. Collections for pajama and book donations begin at 6 p.m.

The Pajama Program, charitable organization, provides comfort and love in the way of new pajamas and books to children-in-need and children waiting for a permanent home. By providing pajamas and books, the Pajama Program helps to create a warm and nurturing bedtime environment for vulnerable youngsters living under difficult circumstances.

The 73-55 Salt Lake Bees continue a nine-game home stand tonight against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at 7:05 p.m. Enjoy baseball and fireworks at Franklin Covey Field on August 22 and 23 by calling (801) 325-BEES or by visiting the Bees box office.
