Hershey Bears News Release

HERSHEY'S win streak is now seven straight games after defeating the Norfolk Admirals 3-2 Wednesday night at Norfolk Scope.

Eric Perrin opened the scoring with his 12th goal of the season at the 6:27 mark of the first period. After Norfolk tied the game with a goal by Quintin Laing, Carl Corazzini gave HERSHEY a 2-1 lead with his 8th of the season. Jeff Ulmer assisted on the goal to give the BEARS the lead. Norfolk tied the game late in the first period on the power play with the fifth goal of the season by Matt Ellison.

After a scoreless second period, the third period featured just one goal. Eric Perrin got behind the defense and buried a shot into the top right corner of the goal past Michael Leighton. Perrin's second of the game and 13th of the season proved to be the game-winner as HERSHEY won for the seventh straight time.

The BEARS return home to face Norfolk Saturday night at GIANT Center. Face-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
