On Tuesday, Rickard Wallin had three points as Houston routed Milwaukee, 7-0... Derek MacKenzie and Kevin Doell scored shorthanded 31 seconds apart as Chicago rallied past Hamilton, 4-2, and moved into first place in the West Division... Ryan Kesler scored twice as Manitoba took over the top spot in the North with a 6-3 win at San Antonio.

LOOKING AHEAD:
The puck drops at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday night as Syracuse takes on Cleveland... The Crunch are 2-1-1 all-time in games at the parent Blue Jackets' rink... This will be the first of eight meetings this season between the clubs, and the first of three in a four-night span... Alexander Svitov, who played 29 games for Columbus last season, recorded two goals and an assist in Syracuse's 7-2 win over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Sunday... The Barons have lost six of their last seven overall and eight of their last nine away from home as they begin a six-game road trip... Cleveland, one point ahead of the last-place Crunch in the North, is 6-14-0-0 against division opponents this season.
After combining for 271 penalty minutes on Monday night, St. John's and Edmonton renew acquaintances at Rexall Place on Wednesday... J.S. Aubin made 31 saves in the Maple Leafs' 3-0 victory, his third shutout in 12 starts this season... David Ling had a goal and an assist as St. John's scored all three of its goals on the power play... The teams enter the rematch tied for third place in the North Division, looking up at Manitoba and Rochester... Monday's loss ended the Road Runners' six-game points streak (4-0-0-2), and was their fifth setback in as many tries against the Leafs this season (0-3-0-2).
The top two teams in the East Division square off at the Wachovia Spectrum on Wednesday night as Philadelphia hosts Binghamton... The Senators' Jason Spezza, who leads the AHL in assists (39) and points (55), has been limited to a single assist in three games against the Phantoms this season... Denis Hamel has recorded five goals and three assists in the Sens' last four contests... Binghamton has won seven of its last nine, and trails Philadelphia by eight points in the East... Six of the Phantoms' last 10 games have gone to overtime, with five extending to a shootout... Patrick Sharp has four goals against the Senators this year... Phantoms goalie Antero Niittymaki is 0-3-3 in his last six decisions, and 2-6-3 since his personal 12-game winning streak.
