HERSHEY forces overtime after rallying from two one-goal deficits, but the BEARS drop a shootout decision in Cleveland 3-2.

The BEARS and Barons battled to a scoreless first period, with HERSHEY outshooting Cleveland 9-7. In the second period, Cleveland opened the scoring when Mike Iggulden scored his third goal of the season at the 12:13 mark. Shane Joseph assisted on the tally to give the Barons a 1-0 lead. Boyd Kane would rally the BEARS before intermission with his second goal in as many games at the 17:20 mark. Kane tipped a Lawrence Nycholat shot past Barons goaltender Jamie Holden to knot the game at 1-1 after two periods.

Patrick Rissmiller scored for Cleveland to give the Barons a 2-1 lead at the 8:33 mark of the third period, but Boyd Gordon scored his first goal of the season to tie the game at 13:51. In the shootout, all five BEARS shooters were stopped by goaltender Jamie Holden, and Cleveland's Josh Hennessy scored in the fifth round to claim the victory for the Barons.

The BEARS put the wraps on a five-game road trip this Friday night in Philadelphia. Face-off at the Wachovia Spectrum is set for 7:05 p.m.
