Admirals Set Promotional Schedule

Milwaukee, WI-Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today the team's promotional schedule for the 2005-06 season. The schedule includes 21 games with promotional giveaways, eight dates with live entertainment, and nine dates where fans will have the opportunity to win trips to Las Vegas and other destinations around the US.

"We are thrilled with the promotional schedule that we have put together for our fans this season," said Greenberg. "Our goal from the beginning was to create an atmosphere at our games where fans will be entertained no matter what happens on the ice. We feel this combination of entertainment, giveaways and discounts gives every person who comes to the Bradley Center that opportunity."

Country Music Night, presented by Miller Lite and FM106, highlights the 2005-06 promotions. Sugarland, a national recording act from Atlanta, will perform in a concert before the Admirals-Houston Aeros game on Saturday, February 25. Sugarland was recently nominated in three categories at the annual Country Music Awards, including Vocal Group of the Year. Their debut album, entitled Twice the Speed of Life, has been certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for selling more than 1,000,000 copies.

For the first time in franchise history the team will distribute bobblehead dolls, highlighted by the Ben Sheets Bobblehead Doll for the first 3,500 fans on March 10, sponsored by M&I Bank. Sheets was recently became a minority owner in Milwaukee Admirals, LLC, the parent company of the Admirals. The team's first ever bobblehead giveaway will be on Saturday, January 7 when the first 3,500 fans a Classic Mini-Bobblehead featuring the Admirals logo from the early 1980s, courtesy of Aurora Sports Medicine Institute. The third bobblehead night will take place on Friday, February 3 when the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee will present the first 3,500 fans with a Roscoe Bobblehead.

The team will also don a third jersey three separate times in 05-06. On December 26-27 the team will wear retro sweaters from the 1975-76 USHL Championship team. The "Bob Uecker Jerseys" will reappear on the Admiral players February 17 and 18. The yellow and brown plaid jerseys were first seen in the Admirals advertising campaign with Uecker in the mid-90s. On their St. Patrick's Day contest with the Houston Aeros the team will wear special designed St. Patrick's Day jerseys. At each game the jerseys will be auctioned off and the proceeds from the auction will go to charity.

In addition to individual game promotions, the Admirals have also formed several new continuity programs that will take place at a number of games throughout the season. The Poop Deck, sponsored by 7-Mile Fair, is a special seating area in section 221 where fans will receive a commemorative t-shirt and a ticket for just $15. At each of the Admirals six Sunday afternoon games fans can get four ticket, four hot dogs, and four small Pepsi products for just $34, courtesy of Foley & Lardner. Foley & Lardner will also present the Sunday Skate where fans will have the opportunity to lace up their skates and take a lap or two around the Bradley Center ice.

Still a part of the Admirals promotional schedule is the popular Aurora Sports Medicine Institute Autograph Corner nights where fans have the opportunity to meet and get autographs from two Admirals players after 20 separate games.
