Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs have a few upcoming community activities including school visits by players, Ice Girls promotions, and an appearance by Bruiser.
BULLDOGS READ TO SUCCEED PROGRAM BEGINS
On Monday, November 7, Bulldogs players will be visiting schools as part of the âRead to Succeed' program in which Bulldogs players promote literacy by reading to children and encouraging them to read. Players will be reading to classes from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus School and East Mount Park School from 1:45 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.
To get your school involved in the Bulldogs âRead to Succeed' program, or for more information, please contact Anayis Terzian, Sales Assistant, via email at anayis.terzian@hamiltonbulldogs.com or by phone at (905) 777-2374.
ICE GIRLS NEWS Want to make your game day experience even more exciting? Why not get the Ice Girls to make a special trip to your section and visit your group or birthday party in your seats. Contact Tiffany Adoranti, Community Relations Coordinator, via email at tiffany.adoranti@hamiltonbulldogs.com to request a visit from the Ice Girls.
The Ice Girls are looking for the best sign in the house to be displayed on the Bulldogs website. Create your own Bulldogs, Bruiser, or Ice Girls sign and bring it to a game. If the Ice Girls spot your sign in the stands, you will have a chance to get your picture taken with your favourite Ice Girls and have your sign displayed on the âDogs website. Fans with the most outstanding signs are eligible to win a Bulldogs prize pack chosen by your very own Bulldogs Ice Girls!
BRUISER IN THE COMMUNITY
On Saturday, November 5, Bruiser will help kick-off the 3rd annual "Eric's Amazing Race!" Car Rally & Silent Auction. The event, which is a fundraiser for Muscular Dystrophy & Genetic Research, raised nearly $20,000 in 2004. The fun begins at 11:00 a.m., with the silent auction starting at 3:00 p.m. at Philthy McNasty's in Burlington. For more information on how to be apart of Eric's Amazing Race, or to participate in the silent auction, please call (905) 331-6874 or email tether69@hotmail.com.
If you would like to have Bruiser at your upcoming event, please contact Wes Gordon, Community Appearance Coordinator, via email at wes.gordon@hamiltonbulldogs.com or by phone at 905-529-8500.
