
Moose sign Gherson to PTO

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have signed goaltender Robert Gherson to a pro tryout contract.
Gherson, 22, has appeared in three games this season with Manitoba's ECHL affiliate, the Columbia Inferno. In that time, he has gone 2-0-1 with a 1.96 goals against average and a .942 save percentage.
Gherson was originally a fifth choice, 145th overall, of the Washington Capitals in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
