BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox are hosting Washington Capitals Night with appearances by Slapshot and Rod Langway at Prince George's Stadium Tuesday, July 24, as the Baysox take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 7:05 p.m. Former Washington Capitals star and NHL Hall of Famer Rod Langway and Washington Capitals mascot Slapshot will be recognized on the field before the game and will be available to sign autographs and pose for photos on the concourse during the game. Every Tuesday home game is Tailgate Tuesday and fans are invited to come out early beginning at 5 p.m. to enjoy $2 Bud and Bud Light drafts in the picnic pavilion. Tuesday is also Double Dog Deal Day where any fan who purchases a $15 box seat ticket gets a voucher for two free hot dogs and a bag of cracker jacks.
