LOUISVILLE, Ky - Louisville Bats (6-11) rallied back in the fifth inning to take the lead on a two-run double by RHP Nick Christiani, but fell to the Indianapolis Indians (10-8), 7-6.
The Bats continued some hit streaks tonight, third baseman Ivan De Jesus Jr made it his sixth consecutive game with a hit having four hits just tonight, and second baseman Irving Falu with his ninth straight game.
De Jesus Jr put the Bats on the board in the bottom of the third with his RBI single to left scoring center fielder Ryan LaMarre who was walked leading off the inning. The Indians just evened the score in the top of the fourth with an RBI single by Steve Lombardozzi after Holmberg gave up the lead-off single and walked the next two batters.
