LOUISVILLE, KY - With home runs from Drew Mount and Alejo Lopez, the Louisville Bats (59-47) set a season-high win streak of six games and swept the Omaha Storm Chasers (50-54) with a final score of 5-4 at Slugger Field on Sunday afternoon. Jhonny Pereda secured the win with a walk-off RBI single.

Today's finale win marks the third walk-off of the series and the first six-game sweep of the season for the Bats.

In his debut for Louisville this season, Drew Mount smashed a 420-ft solo home run during his first at-bat in the top of the second to put the Bats on the board with a 1-0 lead.

The Storm Chasers fought back in the top of the third with a solo homer of their own, tying the game up at 1-1.

In his first start in two weeks, righthander Christian Roa tossed 5.0 innings, giving up just one hit and one run on 92 pitches with 6 strikeouts, his best outing so far this season.

Omaha threatened to surge ahead in the top of the sixth with a single, but Nick Martini made an impressive catch at the wall to keep the Storm Chasers at one run.

After several scoreless innings, Louisville retook the lead in the bottom of the sixth when Alejo Lopez blasted a lead-off solo longball. Still leading Triple A, Lopez stretched his on-base streak to 37 games and put the Bats ahead 2-1.

After doubling, Jason Vosler later scored on an RBI single by Drew Mount to strengthen the Bats' lead at 3-1 in the bottom of the seventh.

The Storm Chasers combined several base hits in the top of the eighth to snatch back the lead at 4-3.

Louisville rallied a comeback in the bottom of the ninth, starting with a lead-off single from Vosler. Jose Barrero reached after being hit by a pitch and Mount slapped an RBI single to even the score up at 4-4. Pereda followed up with an RBI single, propelling the Bats to a series finale win over Omaha with a final score of 5-4.

Louisville will enjoy a day off tomorrow before traveling to St. Paul for a six-game series against the Saints starting on Tuesday, August 8. With the first pitch set for 8:07 pm E.T. at CHS Field, righthanded pitcher Conor Phillips (1-0, 1.95) will start for the Bats, aiming for his second W of the year.
