
Barnett Moves from West Coast to East Coast

ONTARIO, Calif . - The Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, announced a trade with the Orlando Solar Bears for forward J.T. Barnett for future considerations.
Barnett, 21, made his professional debut with the Reign skating in 31 games and posting nine points (1g, 8a). The rookie forward scored his first goal the same night he had his first multi-point game, on Jan. 5, 2014 in Las Vegas. While in Ontario, the Scottsdale, AZ native had two, three-game assist streaks and had a -5 rating.
Prior to turning pro, Barnett spent five seasons in the Western Hockey League between the Vancouver Giants, Kamloops Blazers, Everett Silvertips, and Kelowna Rockets. In that time he amassed 131 points (57g, 74a).
