KIDS JERSEY T-SHIRT NIGHT / PUCKS N PINTS

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: Tonight the Cyclones open up a busy four game week with their first of two straight home meetings with the Toledo Walleye. The Clones have been extremely successful against their I-75 adversaries this season, going 5-0 thus far. With a 3-1 triumph the last time these two clubs met up, Ben Simon's squad has outscored the fish by a 20-11 count in the season series.

TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: BIG BEER TUESDAY / I LOVE THE 90'S NIGHT - Fans 21+ can enjoy $2 24-ounce beers while we all celebrate everything that was great about the 1990's!

SCOUTING THE WALLEYE: Nick Vitucci's club lost both of its games last weekend to remain in the basement of the North Division and Eastern Conference standings. As of tonight, they are 23 points behind Cincinnati. Travis Novak, despite being held pointless in his last two games, ranks atop Toledo's active scoring list with 24 tallies (8 goals, 16 assists) in 28 games. Alden Hirschfeld has also cooled off lately, with just one goal in his last five; however, he ranks second on the Walleye with 23 points (6 goals, 17 assists) in 38 contests. Mac Carruth has led the way for Toledo in net, going 6-10-0 with a 3.11 goals-against average while rookie Jared Coreau is 1-6-3 with a 4.28 GAA. Coreau is winless versus the Cyclones this season, posting an 0-2-1 record in three meetings.

LAST HEAD-TO-HEAD MEETING: JANUARY 31, 2014: In his first game with the Cyclones, rookie Brian Nugent potted two goals - including the game-winner - as his team defeated the Walleye by a 3-1 final score in front of 4,529 at Huntington Center. Nugent became the eighth Cyclone this year to have a multi-goal game. Joe Howe was magnificent between the pipes, making a career-high 40 saves to earn his ninth victory of the season.

A Magnificent Month: The Cyclones were able to post an 8-3 record in the month of January, thanks greatly to the play of Anthony Luciani. #11 posted 19 points (10g, 9a) and a +7 rating in 11 games last month - earning a nomination for ECHL Player of the Month.

Shutting the Door: When the Cyclones have carried a lead into the third period, they've been nearly impossible to beat this season. So far in such situations, they've amassed a 20-0-1 record. Only two other teams have more wins when holding the cushion after 40 minutes (Alaska, South Carolina).
