Rosemont, IL - It took more than seven innings for the Chicago Bandits to steal the 3-2 win as Chicago catcher Kristen Butler produced a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth on Friday at Rosemont Stadium.

The Rebellion offense tallied nine hits and two runs in the losing effort. Both Pennsylvania scores came off the bat of Rebellion infielder Bianca Meija drilled a two-run blast in the fifth frame. Mejia, along with teammate's right fielder Mandy Ogle and third baseman Jenn Salling, collected two hits each in the contest.

In the bottom of the ninth, a leadoff triple by Chicago centerfielder Megan Wiggins provided the game-winning run by Butler. Wiggins also pushed the game-tying run in the bottom of the seventh for the Bandits to send the game into extra innings.

Rebellion starting pitcher Angel Bunner threw seven strong innings for the Rebellion, allowing one earned run on eight hits with three strikeouts. Chicago rookie hurler Ellen Renfroe captured the win for the Bandits in relief, as Pennsylvania's Anna Miller recorded the loss.

The Rebellion battle Chicago again Saturday, July 12 at 8:35 p.m. EST. All of the action can be found online at www.msasports.net/broadcasts, or online via a live webstream at http://www.highschoolcube.com.
