PLAYOFF PICTURE: The Condors racked up their fourth straight win, and fifth in their last six games, Saturday night against Utah, but Stockton and Phoenix both picked up wins on Saturday as well to keep the Condors lead in the standings to just two points. Bakersfield and the RoadRunners both have just three games remaining, while Stockton has four. The Condors magic number for clinching a playoff spot is now five points, which can come through either points gained by the Condors or points lost by Phoenix. The first playoff tie break in the ECHL is overall wins.

Las Vegas clinched the 1st seed in the National Conference and will play the 8th seed in the first round, while a three-team battle between Victoria, Idaho and Alaska continues for the 2nd seed, which will play the 7th seed in the first round.

ROSTER UPDATE:

G Brent Solei (from the University of Minnesota) was added today as an emergency back-up. F Tylor Michel, a rookie from Wayne State University, was signed Saturday. RW Jason Kostadine was transferred from the 3-IR to 7-IR today, and will be eligible to return on Saturday. D Derrick Byfuglien was activated from the 7-IR today and D David Kudelka was placed on the 3-IR, and will be eligible to return on Thursday. F Sean Venedam, D Scott Balan and C Mike Hofstrand are all on the 30-IR for the rest of the season after undergoing season-ending surgery.

SERIES HISTORY:

The Condors and Grizzlies are meeting for the 7th and final time this season. The Condors (24-36-9, 57 points) have won three of their last four meetings with the Grizzlies and are 3-3-0 overall against Utah (30-28-10, 70 points) this season. This is the final home game of the 2007-08 regular season for Bakersfield.

Tonight, the Condors regular season home finale, is the KUZZ 107.9 Blood Drive Night! All March blood donors received a voucher good for $1 admission to tonight's game in addition to being entered into a drawing for a Condors team-signed jersey, dropping the honorary first puck or tickets to sit in the R & D Leather Furniture "Best Seat in the House" at tonight's game.

The first 2,000 fans in attendance tonight will receive the 5th and final magnet in the March Monday Madness Magnet Collectors Series, featuring Colonel Claw'd.

Tonight is also a Holiday Inn Select DARE Night at The Nest. Students graduating from the DARE & GREAT programs receive complimentary terrace admission to tonight's game.
