Mark Lee Returns To Charlotte

CHARLOTTE N.C. - The Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League have reassigned forward Mark Lee to the Charlotte Checkers.

Lee, 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, started the season with the Wolf Pack. Since then, he has dressed in 17 games in Hartford this year totaling one goal, five assists for six points. This season with Charlotte, he has gathered 15 goals, 18 assists for 33 points in 30 games. He currently ranks fourth on the Checkers in scoring and led the team last season with 80 points (26 goals, 54 assists) in 59 games.

The Checkers are in their 15th season of play as a member of the ECHL. The next home game takes place on April 3 against the Columbia Inferno. In the team's 14-year history, the Checkers have made the playoffs 10 times including three consecutive playoff appearances to date. The Checkers are in their third season of play at St. Lawrence Homes Home Ice at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Season tickets are on sale now with full-season packages starting at just $175.
