B-Sens Release Goaltender Zane Kalemba

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today they have released goaltender Zane Kalemba from his professional try-out contract.

Kalemba dressed as the B-Sens' back-up goaltender for two games, but did not play.

The Saddle Brook, N.J. native has split the 2010-11 season with the Missouri Mavericks of the Central Hockey League and the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL. Kalemba appeared in one game with the Jackals, making his ECHL debut Nov. 13. He stopped 19 of 22 shots as the Jackals defeated the Trenton Thunder at First Arena in Elmira.

The B-Sens host the Hershey Bears tonight at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $17.75 for side seating, $16.75 for end seating.
