AUSTIN - The Austin Spurs (5-12) were defeated by the G League Ignite (7-9), 106-99, at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park on Wednesday night.
Dominick Barlow led the Spurs with 26 points and 7 rebounds. Jordan Hall claimed a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Brandon Randolph chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds.
The Ignite took an early lead in the first frame, outscoring the Spurs 32-20. Austin fought back in the second quarter, going on a 14-10 run with 1:36 remaining to cut the lead down to 13 (59-46) to end the first half. The Ignite take hold of the third frame, outscoring Austin 25-21. The Spurs answered back in the fourth quarter with a 10-0 run with 6:58 remaining, cutting the deficit to three (89-86). Though tied 91 all with 4:08 remaining, Ignite guard Pooh Jeter's 15 points in the fourth alone pushed the Ignite to victory.
Jeter led the Ignite with 22 points. Forward Leonard Miller got a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Guard John Jenkins added 13 points in the Ignite win.

Austin will face the Ignite again on Friday, Feb. 10 with tipoff at 7:30 p.m. at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
