CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Charge (9-6) fell to the Delaware Blue Coats (11-5) by a 122-112 score on Wednesday afternoon. The Wolstein Center was rocking with the cheers of over 2,500 local students participating in the annual School Day game, presented by ActNow.
Jamorko Pickett led all scorers with 29 points, knocking down five from behind the arc, to go along with nine boards and two blocks in 41 minutes of action. Nate Hinton followed with 28 points, while Two-Way Mamadi Diakite marked his return with a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds and added on a career-high seven assists.
Louis King paced the Blue Coats with 23 points, shooting 90% from the floor, in 31 minutes. Julian Champagnie and Jaden Springer each followed with 22 points and six rebounds. Michael Foster Jr. came off the bench to lead Delaware with eight rebounds, along with 13 points on the day. The Charge next begin a two-game set in Portland versus the Maine Celtics on Friday, February 10th at 7:00 p.m. Charge fans can watch the action live on the Charge mobile app and can listen live on the NEO Sports Radio channel on the iHeartRadio app.
