
Armstrong to Salt Lake; Brossman activated

May 26, 2008 - The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announce today that LHP Chris Armstrong has been assigned to Salt Lake of the PCL and INF Jay Brossman has been reinstated from the three-day inactive list.
Armstrong appeared in four games for the Kernels with a 0-1 record and 4.50 ERA. In six innings, he allowed five hits, four runs (three earned), walked three and struck out four.
Brossman will be in uniform and available for today's 2 pm game with the Clinton LumberKings.
No replacement for Armstrong has been announced. With today's transactions, the Kernels roster stands at 24 active players with four players on the disabled list.
