
Anyelo Leclerc and Austin Rei Added to South Atlantic League All-Star Game

Greenville, SC - The South Atlantic League announced on Friday that a pair of Greenville Drive players have been added to the Southern Division for Tuesday's All-Star Game in Lexington, Kentucky. Pitcher Anyelo Leclerc and catcher Austin Rei will add to the list of Drive representatives in the game.
Leclerc has recently grabbed hold of the Drive's closer role, and he has seven saves on the year to go with a 3-1 record and a 1.83 ERA. In 20 appearances, Leclerc has struck out 40 hitters over 39.1 innings of work.
In 44 games with the Drive in 2016, Rei has hit a pair of homers and driven in 15 runs to go with a .211 average and a .343 on-base percentage. He has also shined defensively, throwing out 41.8 percent of attempted basestealers.
Leclerc and Rei are among seven Drive players who have been selected as All-Stars, joining designated hitter Josh Ockimey, utility infielder Luis Alejandro Basabe, utility outfielder Tate Matheny and pitchers Jake Cosart and Roniel Raudes.
The 57th annual South Atlantic League All-Star Game takes place at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington, Kentucky on Tuesday night at 7:00 PM.
