Amerks Wives and Girlfriends Will Sell 'Love for Lokomotiv' Bracelets

(Rochester, NY)...The Rochester Americans announced today that the players' wives and girlfriends will be selling "Love for Lokomotiv" bracelets during two upcoming Amerks home games, beginning Saturday, Nov. 12 when the team hosts the Grand Rapids Griffins at The Blue Cross Arena at 7:35 p.m.
On September 7, 2011, a tragic plane crash took the lives of 44 people, including staff, coaches and players of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl Professional Hockey Team of Russia's Kontinental Hockey League. In a united effort to show support for grieving families, hockey wives and girlfriends from around the world have participated in the Love for Lokomotiv program by selling remembrance bracelets.The proceeds will go to the Foundation that has been set up in honor of the lost team.
Love for Lokomotiv Remembrance Bracelets will be sold for $10 on the main concourse of The Blue Cross Arena during the Amerks home games on Saturday, Nov. 12 and Wednesday, Nov. 16 or while supplies last.
