Game Notes: The Rochester Americans host the Hamilton Bulldogs tonight at 7:35 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial. The contest will be televised tape delayed on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. on Time Warner Cable Channel 98. The game will also be broadcast on WHTK 1280-AM and webcast on whtk.com.

Promotions: The first 5,000 fans will receive an Amerks' 50th Anniversary card of right wings Mal Davis and Jim Jackson. Davis played in Rochester from 1981-86 and Jackson was a member of the franchise from 1985-90. Davis was enshrined into the team's Hall of Fame in 2000 and Jackson was added in 2001.

Head-to-Head: The game is the eighth of a 10-game series against the Bulldogs. Rochester leads the season series with a record of 5-2-0-0.

Rochester Notes: Rochester (25-21-1-1, 52 points) enters the week in fifth place in the North Division and is five points behind the Toronto Marlies (27-20-3-0, 57 points) for the fourth and final playoff spot. The Amerks take their season-high four-game winning streak into a pair of games this week. Last week, the Amerks defeated the San Antonio Rampage 5-4 in a shootout on February 3rd and then beat the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 4-2 on February 4th. Center Jiri Novotny remains on recall with the Buffalo Sabres. Earlier in the week, Rochester received right wing Rob Globke from the Florida Panthers. Right wing Sean McMorrow is only four penalty minutes away from passing Norm "Red" Armstrong for fourth place on the team's all-time list. On February 19th, the Amerks will make center Scott Metcalfe the 41st member of their Hall of Fame. Metcalfe is Rochester's all-time penalty minute leader with 1,424 minutes.

Hamilton Notes: Hamilton (19-30-0-2, 40 points) is in seventh place in the division. On Wednesday, the Montreal Canadiens assigned defenseman Jean-Philippe Cote to the Hamilton Bulldogs. Cote has played in eight games in two stints with the Canadiens this season, going scoreless while collecting four penalty minutes. He has also played 32 games for the Bulldogs, recording four points (1+3) and 63 penalty minutes. The Bulldogs are 3-7-0-0 in their last 10 games. Hamilton is coming off a 2-1 overtime win against the Manchester Monarchs on February 4th. Right wing Duncan Milroy won the game with a short-handed goal in the extra session.

Amerks CF Dinner: The Rochester Americans 16th annual Amerks Celebrity Waiter Dinner & Sports Memorabilia Auction raised $48,378 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Rochester. The event was held at The Clarion Riverside Hotel in downtown Rochester on February 7th.

Next Game: On Saturday night, Rochester journeys to Syracuse to play the Crunch for the sixth time this season. The Amerks trail the season series with a 2-2-1-0 record. The game at the Onondaga County War Memorial at Oncenter is a 7:30 p.m. start. The Crunch (29-18-2-1, 61 points) are currently in third place in the North Division.
