Amerks Duco and Rissmiller Get the Call from the Big Club

(Rochester, NY)... Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that LW Mike Duco and LW Patrick Rissmiller have been recalled from the Rochester Americans.
Duco, 23, who earns his first call-up of the season has played in 10 National Hockey League games with Florida (2009-10) recording 50 PIM. The Toronto, Ontario native has also skated in 182 games with Rochester (AHL) in his professional career, picking up 41 goals and 34 assists along with 404 PIM. Duco leads Rochester in goals this season with 18 while also registering 10 assists and 116 PIM in 55 games.
Rissmiller, 32, also earns his first call-up of the season. The veteran forward is riding a five-game point streak (2+5) and has a point in every game since he arrived from Lake Erie. Acquired along with Niclas Bergfors on Feb. 28 for Radek Dvorak and a 2011 fifth round pick, Rissmiller posted a goal in six games with Chicago (AHL), 30 points (11+19) with Lake Erie and skated in one game for Atlanta this season. The Belmont, Mass., native has skated in 183 NHL games with San Jose (2003-08), NY Rangers (2008-09) and Atlanta (2010-11), recording 45 points (18+27) in those contests.
The Panthers (28-32-9) play their fifth game of a season long seven-game home stand tonight when they host the Philadelphia Flyers. The Rochester Americans return to action on Wednesday, March 16th, as host the Hamilton Bulldogs at The Blue Cross Arena. Faceoff is slated for 7:05 p.m. Fans can tune into all the live action on SportsRadio 1280 WHTK and FM 107.3, Rochester's Sports Talk.
