Second Annual School Game/UNUM Challenge

Come out to the Civic Center on Tuesday, March 22nd for a special 11 a.m. start as the Pirates take on the Worcester Sharks. The Pirates are hosting their second annual School Day Game, presented by Irving Oil and Modern Woodmen of America, designed to help promote students to eat healthy and stay active and educated. Students participating receive a complimentary health booklet prior to the game that has fun interactive activities.

The 5th Annual UNUM Challenge between the Pirates and the Sharks continues. At each game in each city, one lucky fan will be chosen from the submitted entrees as the UNUM Challenge Fan of the Game. Click here to enter.

Advance ticket prices are $13 for Quarter Deck, $16 for Main Deck and $17 for Premium Main Deck. Student/Senior pricing is $11 for Quarter or Main Deck tickets and $12 for Premium Main Deck seating. UNUM Pirates Hall of Fame Induction/Scout Sleepover

Join us on Saturday, March 26th for a special night as Martin Gendron will be the 14th member inducted into the Pirates Hall of Fame, presented by UNUM. The Pirates will be taking on the Charlotte Checkers in another Bud Light Hockey Night in Portland at 7 p.m. in the last meeting between the two clubs in the regular season.

The Pirates and the Pine Tree Council host Boy Scouts from across the state of Maine for the annual Boy Scout Sleepover. Special admission for Boy Scouts and their family and friends includes game ticket, private post-game skating party, a movie on the center-ice videoboard and a sleepover in the Civic Center. Heart Walk 2011

The Pirates invite fans, friends and family members to join our team as a member of the Salty Pete Pacers for the Southern Maine Heart Walk. This family-oriented event blends the benefits of physical activity, community involvement, and personal giving to help raise funds for research and education.

Second year defenseman T.J. Brennan is serving as the Pirates player representative for the Southern Maine Heart Walk. Brennan's grandmother passed away after suffering a heart attack when she was only 49 years old.

Heart disease is killing people from Maine in increasingly frightening numbers. Last year alone, over 4,000 Mainers died from heart disease. That's one in every 330 residents of our state. And more than 25,000 Mainers are living with heart disease. That's one in every 50. Odds are a few of them are people you know. A friend, a family member, a loved one.

Manchester Bus Trip

How would you like to enjoy the excitement of a Pirates road game alongside friends and fellow fans' On April 2nd a Pirates fan bus will be heading to Manchester to attend a crucial late-season battle between the Pirates and the Monarchs.
