ALLEN, Texas- Attempting to win their third consecutive game, the Allen Americans fell to the Tulsa Oilers 5-0 tonight in front of 4,090 at the Allen Event Center. Tulsa defenseman Brennan Barker struck first 15:06 into the frame, followed by forward Derek Eastman who scored on the power play with 0:13 remaining in the period.
The Americans continued to generate chances in the second period but were still unable to find the back of the net as Tulsa netminder Ian Keserich stood tall and turned shot after shot aside.
