Americans and Orlando Make Three Player Deal
November 18, 2016 - ECHL (ECHL)
Allen Americans News Release
Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans and Orlando SolarBears announced a three-player trade today with the Americans sending forward Chris Crane to Orlando in exchange for forward Bryan Moore, along with the rights to forward Rylan Schwartz.
Bryan Moore is in his second season of professional hockey. Moore played in six games this season with the Orlando SolarBears and had 27 penalty minutes. The native of Indian Trail, North Carolina, played in 29 games last season in the American Hockey League with San Diego and scored two goals and added five assists for seven points.
The Americans also acquired the rights to forward Rylan Schwartz in the deal. Schwartz played with Allen in 2015 and had 26 points in 22 games. The native of Wilcox, SASK, is playing in Europe this season with Heilbronner Falcon of the DEL2, and has 24 points in 16 games.
"It's tough trading good people but we have plenty of skill," said Americans Head Coach Steve Martinson. "We need a different mix in the room, and Alex Guptill and Bryan Moore are two power forwards that will change the look of our team."
The Americans are back home tomorrow night to play the Rapid City Rush at 7:05 PM. Allen will wear specialty Dinosaur Jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game.
Don't miss our pregame and postgame activities at Dodie's on Saturday night. Come meet selected Ice Angels pregame, along with five dollar appetizers and two dollar domestics from 5 to 7 pm.
