
American Bombshells Added to "Fourth on the Field"

The American Bombshells presented by Motola's Paving, a modern day twist on the Andrews Sisters and a throwback to the big band era, will serve as the musical headliner for the 3rd annual "Fourth on the Field" presented by TD Bank at Coca-Cola Park. This year's "Fourth on the Field" presented by TD Bank will be bigger and better than ever as this on-field event features a massive fireworks show that will be at least three times larger than an IronPigs post-game fireworks event, mouth-watering food options from both Coca-Cola Park and the local food truck community, live music from The American Bombshells presented by Motola's Paving and family-friendly entertainment such as pony rides and inflatable games. The event will take place on Monday, July 4 at 6 p.m. with an extended holiday fireworks show launch after sundown.
"Fourth on the Field" tickets are on sale now for just $6 each and are available by calling (610) 841-PIGS (7447), by visiting the Coca-Cola Park ticket office during normal business hours or. Tickets are limited, so patrons are encouraged to get them in advance. Children 2 and under are free. Parking is $5 per vehicle.
The American Bombshells presented by Motola's Paving will perform throughout the evening with an extensive catalogue that includes patriotic classics, World War II era staples such as the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and Alexander's Rag Time Band and more modern hits from the 1950's and 60's like Lollipop, Mr. Postman and One Fine Day. Tickets include exclusive access to the field and dugout areas at Coca-Cola Park, allowing attendees to watch the fireworks bash from the field or the seating bowl on a first-come, first-serve basis and partake in the great food and festivities being offered.
Food trucks will be parked along the warning track with a wide array of offerings and all of Coca-Cola Park's concession stands will also be open serving their traditional ballpark fare. In addition, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
Many more family activities are planned this year -- including twice as many pony rides and double the amount of inflatable games as well as unlimited access to the Red Robin Kids Zone along with appearances by all of the IronPigs mascots. Kid's games have been added for 2016, including 3 legged races, sack races, a watermelon eating contest and an apple pie eating contest. Also for youngsters, Tootsie the Clown will provide complimentary face painting and balloon art. Most family activities are included with the price of admission.
Established in 2008, Coca-Cola Park is widely regarded as one of Minor League Baseball's premier venues.
