Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (42-31) play the finale of a four-game series at Harbor Park against the Norfolk Tides (26-47), whom the Pigs defeated, 2-1, in a three-game home series from May 30 to June 1... With a 2-1 victory last night, the Pigs have won eight of their last 10 contests and have started 3-0 on this seven-day, South Division road trip. The Pigs own the best record in the IL in June (16-6) and sport a 27-14 record since May 12... The Tides -- Baltimore's top affiliate -- have lost three in a row after a three-game winning streak. Still, the Tides have also won five of their last nine affairs after a 7-18 skid from May 17 to June 12... Next up for the Pigs is a three-game, road series against the Durham Bulls (34-41).
LHP James Russell (2-2, 4.25) will start against LHP Ariel Miranda (1-7, 4.80).
