Allen Americans News Release
Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans wrapped up their five game set with the Laredo Bucks on Sunday afternoon with a 2-1 loss at Laredo Energy Arena. The Americans head to the All Star Break one point behind Wichita for the top spot in the Berry Conference. Allen returns to action Friday night in Missouri, against the Mavericks.

Americans 2 Laredo 3 OT
The Americans jumped out to a 2-0 first period lead on goals by Jarret Lukin, and Colton Yellow Horn, only to see Laredo score three unanswered, including the game winner by Rusty Masters in overtime, for a 3-2 Bucks victory. It was Laredo's third win at the Allen Event Center this season.
Saturday January 7th

Bruce Graham scored his 17th of the season in the third period for the Americans, in what turned out to be the game winner, in a 4-2 decision. Jim McKenzie scored two goals while Rejean Beauchemin got the start and the win in net for Allen.
Sunday January 8th
Americans 1 Laredo 2
The Americans took a 1-0 first period lead on Jason Deitsch's 8th goal of the season, however the Bucks would rally again, as David Inman scored two goals, including the game winner in the third, as the Bucks won a wild affair at the Laredo Energy Arena.
Americans Need to Know
Bruce Graham had his 14 game point streak snapped on Sunday 1/8/12, in a 2-1 loss to Laredo.
