2003 Kelly Cup Playoffs Southeast Division Wild Card Game (One Game)
Greenville Grrrowl (28-36-8) at Florida Everblades (35-23-14) 7:30 ET / 6:30 CT
* Grrrowl begins its defense of the Kelly Cup.
* Florida is 6-0-3 against Greenville in 2002-03 and 23-11-4 all-time in the regular season.
* Greenville is 3-2 against Florida in the Kelly Cup Playoffs, defeating the Everblades in 2002 Southeast Division Semifinals.
* Everblades have been to the Kelly Cup Playoffs in each of their first five seasons, and are 10-12 all-time in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
* Grrrowl have been to the Kelly Cup Playoffs three times and are 21-11 all-time.
* Florida defeated South Carolina, 3-2, in the 2002 Southeast Division Wild Card Game.
* Grrrowl won the 2002 Kelly Cup by sweeping Northern Champion Dayton, four games to none.

* Peoria is 6-2-0 against Cincinnati in 2002-03 and 13-4-1 all-time in the regular season.
* First-ever postseason meeting between Cincinnati and Peoria.
* Cyclones are 0-3 in the Kelly Cup Playoffs after being swept in last year's Northwest Division Semifinals by eventual Northern Conference Champion Dayton.
* Rivermen are 33-21 in all-time in the Kelly Cup Playoffs after being beaten 3-2 in the Northwest Division Semifinals against Johnstown in 2002.
* Cyclones have qualified for the postseason each of the last two seasons.

Pensacola Ice Pilots (33-30-9) at Jackson Bandits (38-26-8) 9:05 ET / 8:05 CT
* Jackson is 6-3-2 against Pensacola in 2002-03 and 20-9-4 all-time in the regular season.
* First-ever postseason meeting.
* Jackson has qualified for its third consecutive Kelly Cup Playoffs and is 6-8 all-time in the postseason.
* Pensacola has qualified for the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the fifth time in its seven-year history and is 21-16 all-time in the postseason.
* Jackson won last meeting 4-2 against Pensacola at home and is 4-0-1 against the Ice Pilots at home.
* Pensacola was swept, three games to none, in the 2002 Kelly Cup Playoffs Southwest Division Semifinals by Mississippi.
* Jackson defeated New Orleans, 3-1, in the 2002 Kelly Cup Playoffs Southwest Division Wild Card Game, and eliminated regular season champion Louisiana in the Southwest Division Semifinals before losing to Mississippi in the Southwest Division Finals.

* Greg Pankewicz leads Pensacola in scoring with 87 points (46g-41a) and game-winning goals with five.
* Jeff McNabb leads Jackson with 70 points, 35 goals, and 11 power-play goals. * Louis Dumont leads the Ice Pilots with 51 assists and ranks second in scoring with 71 points.
* Jeff Bes leads the Bandits with 39 assists and ranks second in scoring with 62 points.
* Jeremy Van Hoof leads Pensacola in plus/minus (+17).
