Albany Devils Set April Promotional Schedule

ALBANY, NY - The Albany Devils will host five games at Times Union Center during a 15-day span in April and each event has some sort of charity or promotional tie-in. Here is a look at the team's April promotional schedule:

SATURDAY, APRIL 2 AT 5 PM | vs. SPRINGFIELD FALCONS

- Battle of the Badges

The Devils invite all first responders to "Battle of the Badges." The event will include a postgame bout between the Albany Police Department and the Union Fire Department. First responders and their families and friends can purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $15 and $2 to benefit Cindy DeThornes, who has been battling cancer since 2007. A close friend of the Union Fire Department and first responders, Cindy has had Stage Four Colon Cancer for nearly nine years. Each department that participates will receive special recognition throughout the game.

- Clucks & Pucks For LLS

The Devils and Little Dog Advertising have teamed up with Brendan Noonan, who is a 2016 candidate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man of the Year, for the first annual "Clucks and Pucks for LLS." The event includes chicken wings from more than 20 different Capital Region restaurants and craft beer from several local breweries. Tickets are $30 for adults and $25 for children (12 and under). Each ticket includes 12 chicken wings and entry to the Devils' game. All proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

SUNDAY, APRIL 3 AT 3 PM | vs. BINGHAMTON SENATORS

- Pucks And Paws

The Devils and the Regional Animal Shelter of Gloversville, NY have partnered for the sixth annual "Pucks And Paws." Fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the game. A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit the Regional Animal Shelter.

Entry is $13 for individuals and $5 for their dogs, with the $5 being donated to the Regional Animal Shelter. The dogs and owners will have special seating in the upper bowl sections 201, 202 and 203. Fans who donate a bag of dog food or a dog toy, will receive a complimentary ticket to the Devils' game on Wednesday, April 13 against the Senators.

SUNDAY, APRIL 10 AT 3 PM | vs. TORONTO MARLIES

- Military Appreciation Day

The Devils and their fans will celebrate the Armed Services during "Military Appreciation Day." All active and retired service members will receive free admission to the game by showing proper identification at the Times Union Center Box Office. The festivities begin at 1 pm in the Times Union Center atrium for a pregame party. Representatives from various military branches will be on hand with interactive information for fans.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13 AT 7 PM | vs. BINGHAMTON SENATORS

- SEFCU College Night, Happy Hour and Dollar Dawgs

All students will receive a $10 ticket at the Times Union Center Box Office as part of "SEFCU College Night." Students who take advantage of the promotion will also receive a $1 voucher for a hot dog and soda. "Happy Hour" for all adults (21+) will be between 6 pm and the end of the first period with $4 drafts. Additionally, hot dogs are just $1 during the entirety of the event.

SATURDAY, APRIL 16 AT 5 PM | vs. BRIDGEPORT SOUND TIGERS

- Fan Appreciation Night

For the last game of the regular season, the Devils will pay tribute to the fans. An assortment of prizes will be handed out throughout the game and special messages from the players will be played throughout the game on the videoboard. Fans can log on to thealbanydevils.com/fan-night to enter to win a chance to shoot for 2016-17 season tickets during an intermission contest.
