
Panthers Reassign Shaw to Portland

Portland, ME - Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that forward Logan Shaw has been reassigned to the Portland Pirates.
Shaw, a 6-foot-3, 204 pound right wing from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, has played 13 games with Portland this season, scoring seven goals and adding an assist for eight points. The 23-year-old third year pro has scored a goal in his last two games and registered a point in each of his last three games with Portland.
A Panthers Third Round (76th Overall) choice in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Shaw has spent most of the season with Florida seeing ice time in 53 games, scoring five goals and two assists. He made his NHL debut for Florida on October 30 against the Boston Bruins before he was reassigned back to Portland.
Shaw will be eligible to suit up for the Pirates on Saturday as they take on the Hartford Wolf Pack at XL Center.
