IceCaps Held in Check vs. Phantoms

ST. JOHN'S - The St. John's IceCaps fell 4-1 to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Friday in the first of two weekend games at Mile One Centre.

Tim Bozon scored the lone goal for St. John's as the club dropped its first of six remaining home games this season.

Zach Fucale stopped 28-of-31 shots in a solid showing, while Phantoms goaltender Martin Ouellette made 27 saves on 28 shots in a first star performance. Adam Comrie's second period tally stood as the game-winner.

Forward Cory Ward picked up his third assist in six games since joining the team on an ATO, while playing at Mile One for the first time. Defencemen Christopher Joyaux and Tom Parisi also made their home debuts.

The IceCaps and Phantoms hook up again Saturday night to finish their two-game series (7:30 PM). Tickets are still available at the Mile One box office and www.mileonecentre.com.
