Alaska's Metcalf Suspended One Game, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Alaska
defenseman Peter
Metcalf for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of
his actions following ECHL Game #508 against Victoria on Jan. 27.
Metcalf is fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and
the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the
ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Metcalf will miss Alaska's game at Utah (Jan. 31).
