AHL Calls for Lunden and Goers

Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that left wing Josh Lunden and defenseman Barry Goes have each been called up to American Hockey League teams. Lunden and Goers have been loaned to the St. John's IceCaps and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, respectively.

Lunden, 25, scored two goals and registered two assists in this past weekend's series against the Alaska Aces. The 6'2'', 202-pound left wing has appeared in 30 games for Las Vegas this season, tallying 31 points (13 goals, 18 assists) and 44 penalty minutes. A native of Coquitlam, British Columbia, Lunden was previously called up to the AHL's Peoria Rivermen in January, appearing in one game.

Goers, 25, is in his second full season with the Wranglers after signing an amateur try-out agreement in 2009-10. The 5'9'', 175-pound blueliner has played in 43 games this season with 23 points (3 goals, 20 assists) and 26 penalty minutes.

The Wranglers hit the road to California this week to face the Ontario Reign on Wednesday. The team returns home for "Pink in the Rink" against the Bakersfield Condors on Friday, Feb. 10, at 7:05 p.m., where specialty pink jerseys will be auctioned off to raise money for local breast cancer organizations.

2011-12 season seat packages, starting at $30, are on sale now at (702) 471-PUCK. Individual tickets to Wranglers games are available by phone at (702) 284-7777, and can be purchased in person at all Coast Casino properties, Town Square shopping center or online at www.orleansarena.com. The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located next to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Ave.
