Royals Trade Forward Aaron Lewicki to Idaho

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team has traded forward Aaron Lewicki ["loo WICK ee"] to the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL for future considerations. Lewicki (along with defenseman Ryan Blair) was acquired by the Royals on Tuesday, January 31, in a trade that sent forward Todd Griffith to the Toledo Walleye. Lewicki played one game with the Royals and picked up two penalty minutes.

Reading returns action on Friday night (February 10, 2012 @ 7:05 pm) when the team will face the Elmira Jackals at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. That night, the Royals organization will induct Equipment Manager Pat Noecker into the Reading Eagle Wall of Honor and the first 1500 fans 21 years of age and older will receive a beer glass with Pat Noecker's image on it. The game night broadcast on Friday will start at 6:35 pm with the Red Robin Gourmet Burger Pre-Game Warm-up Show on ESPN Radio 1240 am in Reading.
