
Ag Night Headlines Fun-Filled Homestand

FRESNO, CA - The first-place Fresno Grizzlies will return home to host the Salt Lake Bees, Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, for a four-game, weekend wrap-around series, kicking off Friday, May 7th. The Grizzlies currently lead the Pacific Coast League with 17 victories, and are in the midst of a six-game road winning streak.
The homestand starts off on Friday with Ag Night, Presented by Bayer CropScience and CBS 47. The evening showcases the Grizzlies' annual celebration of the Central Valley's rich agricultural history. The organization will recognize the impact of the agricultural community in Fresno throughout the evening with themed in-game entertainment, a petting zoo, a tractor exhibit and more. There will also be traditional postgame Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Bayer CropScience, as well as a performance by Minor League Baseball's most beloved dancing grounds crew, the Drag Kings.
Saturday will feature the Grizzlies' third giveaway of the season, a Grizzlies Hat, presented by Ahart Benefit Insurance Services, for the first 2,500 fans through the gates. The organization will also host a Sports Career Fair on the concourse at 3:00pm, where representatives from professional sports organizations including the Sacramento Kings, Bulldog Sports Properties, the Fresno Grizzlies and Fresno Fuego will be on hand, accepting resumes and conducting interviews. Individuals serious about a career in professional sports management can gain admission to the Job Fair and a seat for Saturday's 7:05pm game for just $15.
Sunday, May 9th is Mother's Day, a chance to treat mom to an afternoon at the ballpark and enjoy some quality family time. Players will pay tribute to their moms on the video board. In addition, kids and moms will be offered the chance to run the bases on the field following the 2:05pm game, thanks to Subway.
The Grizzlies will close out the short homestand with a Monday matinee game on May 10th, starting at 12:05pm. As with every Monday home game, Monday Madness, presented by ABC 30, will be in full effect. Fans can purchase two Field Level Reserve tickets, two hot dogs, two sodas, two Wild Water Adventure Park passes and two Blackbeard's Mini Golf passes, all for just $32.
The Grizzlies return home to Chukchansi Park, where they sport a 9-3 record, on Friday, May 7th. Fans can purchase tickets for any game in the 2010 season at the Chukchansi Park Box Office, online at www.fresnogrizzlies.com, or over the phone at 559.320.TIXS.
