Affiliate players headed to Greenville

GREENVILLE, SC â The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL, proud affiliates of the Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers, have announced that MARTIN ST. PIERRE (center) and J.F. PLOURDE (center) have cleared immigration requirements and will be reporting to Greenville. ST. PIERRE (#9) is expected to be in the line-up for tonight's game against the South Carolina Stingrays at the BI-LO Center. PLOURDE (#7) is expected to be with the team for Sunday afternoon's game in Gwinnett.
Both players were assigned to Greenville (10/12/04) from the Edmonton Oilers organization and were part of the Edmonton Oilers/Roadrunners training camp.
MARTIN ST. PIERRE (5-9, 180lbs., Emburn, ONT native) amassed 145 points (53G, 92A) in 90 total games last season with the Guelph Storm and was named MVP of the OHL championship playoffs.
J.F. PLOURE (5-10, 185lbs., Gaspe, QC native) played 65 games with Columbus (ECHL) last season, and tallied 39 points (20G, 19A) and 83 penalty minutes.
The Grrrowl will be in action on Friday night against the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:05pm. The Grrrowl will start their first road trip of the season with games at Gwinnett (10/31), Pee Dee (11/2) and South Carolina (11/5). After the trip, the Grrrowl will be at home for five straight, beginning on Sunday afternoon at 3:05pm against the Pee Dee Pride.
