Titans Come From Behind For 2-1 Win

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (October 29, 2004) - The Trenton Titans made it a sweet homecoming for Head Coach Mike Haviland with 2-1 win over his former team, the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies, in front of 4,486 at Boardwalk Hall.

Derek Edwardson gave the Bullies a 1-0 lead in the second period as Scott Horvath forced a turnover and found the rookie in the slot for a one-time that beat Andrew Allen.

The Titans would come back however with the help of a two-man advantage at the beginning of the third. Leon Hayward was able to get the puck out of a scrum and past Adam Munro to tie the score on the power play just :26 into the last period.

Scott Bertoli put the Titans ahead for good as he converted a 2-on-1 break with B.J. Abel and shot the puck top-shelf past Munro to make the score 2-1.

Allen's raised his record to 3-0 on the season as he turned away 26 of 27 shots. Munro made 29 saves suffering his second loss this year.

The Titans travel to Charlotte for a date with the Checkers on Friday, November 5 at 7:00pm. Trenton then comes home to take on the Johnstown Chiefs on Saturday, November 6 at 7:00pm.
