Norfolk Admirals News Release
NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals today welcomed the four millionth fan in Admirals history during their game tonight against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at Norfolk Scope Arena.
The four millionth fan was Robert VanAlstyne of Virginia Beach. VanAlstyne won four season tickets and an Admirals jersey personalized with the number '4' and the nameplate "MILLION."
"The story of the Admirals hockey team is and always has been the fans," said Admirals Vice President Joe Gregory. "Since 1989, Hampton Roads has embraced Admirals hockey, allowing the team to thrive. We thank the fans for their continued support and are thrilled to have welcomed our four millionth fan this evening. We look forward to millions more in the years to come."
