San Jose Sharks Recall Forward Lukas Kaspar

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forward Lukas Kaspar from the Worcester Sharks, San Jose's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

Kaspar has played in 21 games for Worcester this season posting 13 points (4+9=13). He started the 2008-09 season in San Jose, playing in six games, scoring one goal (the game-winner Oct. 12 at Los Angeles).

Kaspar was originally selected by San Jose in the first round (22nd overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
