Norfolk Admirals News Release
NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals have released ten players from tryout contracts, General Manager Al MacIsaac announced today.
The following players were released:
Forwards: Sean McMorrow, Fraser Filipic, Gregg Johnson, Scott
Sheppard, Chris Blight and Mark Hurtubise
Defensemen: Scott Ford, Jerramie Domish, Dustin VanBallegooie
Goaltender: Joel Martin
The Admirals' roster now stands at 25 players with 13 forwards, nine defensemen and three goaltenders. A full roster is attached to this release. Norfolk will make one more set of roster changes before its first regular season game on Friday in Philadelphia against the Phantoms.
The Admirals head to Scope for their home opener on Friday, October 13 versus the Springfield Falcons at 7:15 p.m. The first 5,000 fans to this game will receive an Admirals magnetic schedule courtesy of JaniKing.
