Wolf Pack Unveil 10th Anniversary Season Details

Hartford, October 2, 2006 The Hartford Wolf Pack today announced the club's plans for the Pack's 2006-2007 10th Anniversary Season. New initiatives for this special season include: a commemorative 10th Anniversary logo, a 10th Anniversary Wolf Pack website, ten Saturday home games with commemorative 10th Anniversary giveaways, a season-long $10,000 giveaway and a 10th Anniversary 10-game ticketing plan.

Details of the season include:

Wolf Pack 10th Anniversary Logo & Season Theme - The 10th anniversary logo features the Roman numeral "X," signifying the Pack's 10th season in Hartford with the years 1997 & 2007 highlighted. This will be incorporated into everything this season, including center ice, the Wolf Pack's royal blue commemorative 10th Anniversary jerseys, merchandise, giveaways and more. Additionally, the theme "10 Years...One Mission" has been chosen for the season to communicate the success of the club over the years and their mission to bring home the Calder Cup (which they were successful in doing in '00) & entertain fans.

10th Anniversary Wolf Pack Website - Launching off the Wolf Pack's main website, the Wolf Pack 10th Anniversary website (www.10years1mission.com) allows fans to test their Wolf Pack trivia knowledge, vote for the Wolf Pack All-Decade team (which will be featured on two commemorative giveaways), find out where their favorite former players and coaches are with "Where are they Now" features, take a trip down memory lane with retrospective photos and season openers, find out about the contributions of the Wolf Pack and Wolf Pack Community Foundation to the Hartford community over the years, and much more.

10 Saturday 10th Anniversary Nights- 10 Saturday night home games have been identified in which 10th Anniversary commemorative giveaways will be given out to the first 5,000 fans. Additionally, on opening night, fans will receive a free magnetic season schedule, sponsored by the Hartford. The 10 Saturday 10th Anniversary Nights include: 10/7 - Encased Ticket Plaque sponsored by Verizon; 11/11 - 10th Anniversary Puck; 11/25 - 3D Cup; 12/16 - 10th Anniversary Ornament; 12/30 - Flag; 2/17 - Banner; 2/24 - Die Cast Car; 3/10 -Poster*; 3/31 - T-Shirt*; 4/7 - Key Chain. *Will feature the Wolf Pack 10th Anniversary All-Decade Team, as voted for by fans on the 10th Anniversary website.

10th Anniversary 10-Game Ticketing Plan - Building upon the popularity and demand of last season's 5-game plan, a special 10th Anniversary 10-game plan is being offered featuring the 10 Saturday 10th Anniversary Nights that guarantees a 10th Anniversary Commemorative Giveaway at each game.

10 games...10 years...$10,000 - This season will feature a $10,000 giveaway promotion in conjunction with Rockville Bank in which fans have the chance to win $1,000 per game during each of the Pack's ten Friday night games. This will be paired with the return of the popular Guida's Family Value night, a package that includes tickets, hot dogs or pizza slices, sodas and a Wolf Pack souvenir.

The Wolf Pack will open its special 10th Anniversary Season on Saturday, October 7th at 7:00 PM at the Hartford Civic Center, taking on the Springfield Falcons.

Season tickets are on sale now starting as low as $496 for adults and $248 for youth aged 16 and under. Additionally, individual tickets range in price from $17 to $25 for adults in advance ($19 to $31 day-of-game) and $8.50 to $12.50 for youth ages 16 and under ($9.50 to $15.50 day-of game) and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations including Filene's at the Buckland Hills Mall and at the Westfarms Mall. The AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack hockey club is part of Madison Square Garden LP. Cablevision Systems Corporation owns a controlling interest in MSG LP, which also includes the New York Rangers (NHL), New York Knicks (NBA), the New York Liberty (WNBA), the MSG Network, Fox Sports Net and the Madison Square Garden arena complex.
