Chicago Wolves News Release
The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned forward BRAD SCHELL and goaltenders DAVE CARUSO and DAN TURPLE from the Chicago Wolves to the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL. The Thrashers have also designated defenseman LANE MANSON for reassignment.
In addition, the Wolves have assigned center COLTON FRETTER to the Gladiators and have released forward BLUE BENNEFIELD from training camp.
Chicago, which finished its preseason slate with a 4-1-0-0 record, opens its 13th season with a matchup against the Peoria Rivermen at Carver Arena on Sat., Oct. 7, at 7 p.m.
The Wolves open their 40-game home schedule with a battle against the Milwaukee Admirals at the Allstate Arena on Sat., Oct. 14, at 7 p.m. For more information call 1-800-THE-WOLVES or log on to chicagowolves.com.
