Stars Fans, don't forget that tonight is the first broadcast of Iowa Stars Weekly LIVE at Krieger's Hometwon Sports Grill in West Des Moines.
'Iowa Stars Weekly', will now be broadcast on location from Krieger's Hometown Sports Grill in West Des Moines on Monday nights from 6 to 7 PM on 1350 KRNT. Krieger's is located just off Jordan Creek Parkway in the Bridgewood Plaza, on the west-side of the Jordan Creek Town Center.
Join "The Voice of the Stars", Jason Shaver and co-host Jim Brown of KRNT as they talk with Iowa Stars players and coaches, and take your comments and questions about the Iowa Stars. Jason and Jim will review past games, preview upcoming professional hockey action in Central Iowa and will also take questions from the audience and over the phone. Scheduled to appear as guests on today's show are Stars forward Francis Wathier and defenseman Mario Scalzo.

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars Director of Hockey Operations Scott White announced today that the Des Moines-based American Hockey League (AHL) team has reassigned winger Tuomas Mikkonen (TWOH-muhs mih-KOH-nehn) and defenseman Jared Nightingale to their ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.
