December 8, 2021 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Ottawa 67's News Release

There aren't many Wednesday night games on the docket for the Ottawa 67's, this season, but they get set for some mid-week action tonight, when the Peterborough Petes come to town for a 7:00pm EST puck drop. Barber Poles fans can watch live on Rogers TV, and Kenny Walls has the radio call on TSN 1200.

Ottawa is in the midst of a four-game skid, all of which have come on the road. Derek Smyth scored his second of the year, Sunday, but the 67's were handed a 5-1 loss by the Kingston Frontenacs.

Peterborough hasn't played since December 2, against Kingston, seeing their December 4 game against the Mississauga Steelheads postponed due to COVID-19 protocols affecting the team. The Petes erased a 5-0 deficit with two goals from Joe Carroll, and others from Ryan Gagner, Josh Kavanagh, and Mason McTavish, but gave up a late marker in a 6-5 Frontenacs victory.
