KODAK, Tenn. - The Biscuits (42-44/7-8) played a five hour and sixteen minute, sixteen inning game against the Tennessee Smokies (43-41/10-5) and won 4-3 with a Taylor Motter home run Thursday night at Smokies Park.

The marathon was the longest game in Biscuits history both in innings and in time.

The Biscuits entered the ninth inning trailing 2-1. With one out, Sietzer hit his second solo home run of the game - the first came in the fourth inning - to tie the game at two. Neither team would score again until the twelfth inning when Hunter Cervenka walked the bases loaded then hit Joey Rickard to bring in Seitzer and give the Biscuits a 3-2 lead.

Dustin Gieger led off the bottom of the twelfth with an opposite field home run to tie the game at three and force more innings.

Finally, the 3-3 tie was broken in the sixteenth when Motter jumped a 68 mph pitch from Jeffry Antigua and gave the Biscuits the lead.

After Seitzer's fourth inning home run, the Smokies came back with an RBI-double from Jonathan Mota in the bottom of the fourth. Tennessee took the lead with an RBI-single from Pin-Chieh Chen in the seventh.

The game was filled with unbelievable stats. The teams combined to use eleven pitchers. The Smokies out-hit the Biscuits 15 to nine but the Smokies left 16 men on base while Montgomery went 0-for-11 with runners in scoring position.

The Biscuits will open a five-game series with the Mississippi Braves on Friday at 6:05 from Riverwalk Stadium. RH Dylan Floro will throw against RH Jason Hursh.
