Admirals Ink Carter Korpi Ahead of Final Road Stretch

April 8, 2026 - The Norfolk Admirals, proud ECHL affiliates of the Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose, announce today that they have signed forward Carter Korpi to a standard players' contract. Korpi, 24, joins the Admirals as they begin a stretch of six road games to close out the 2025-26 season. The South Lyon, MI native spent three full seasons in the North American Hockey League split between the Bismarck Bobcats, Jamestown Rebels, Minot Minotauros, and Wichita Falls Warriors. April 7, 2026 - NORFOLK, Va - The Norfolk Tides (3-7) fell to the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (4-6), 6-2, on Tuesday night at Harbor Park. The Tides lose their home opener in the Navy Town Showdown. Norfolk's only runs came in the first inning on a two-run homer by Creed Willems. It was his third home run of the season, all of which have happened in his previous four games. April 5, 2026 - MEMPHIS, Tn - The Norfolk Tides (3-6) split a doubleheader with the Memphis Redbirds (8-1) on Easter Sunday at Autozone Park. The Tides broke the Redbirds' undefeated streak in game one, 9-1, but then dropped game two, 7-3. It was all Norfolk in game one. Johnathan Rodríguez led the Tides with two hits and an RBI. April 5, 2026 - Norfolk, VA - Coming off a thrilling victory on Beach Bums Night, the Norfolk Admirals squared off with the Adirondack Thunder for the final time this season.
