Jay Leach Named Ninth Head Coach in Hartford Wolf Pack History

June 5, 2026 - NEW YORK, NY - New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the team has named Jay Leach Head Coach of the Rangers' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack. Leach, 46, becomes the ninth head coach in Wolf Pack history. He joins the Rangers organization with 12 years of coaching experience, including four seasons as a head coach in the AHL. April 19, 2026 - HARTFORD, CT - New York Rangers Associate General Manager and Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Ryan Martin announced today that the club has loaned forwards Zakary Karpa and Kyle Jackson and defenseman Cooper Moore to the ECHL's Bloomington Bison. Additionally, the parent New York Rangers (NHL) have reassigned goaltender Callum Tung to the Bison from the Wolf Pack.
