April 16, 2026 - DETROIT - The Detroit Pistons converted Tolu Smith to a standard NBA contract. Smith, 6-11, 250, made 26 appearances with the Motor City Cruise during the 2025-26 season and held averages of 19.4 points, 11.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 28.6 minutes per game. Jones is the first player in franchise history to receive the honor.
